JOIN US for the first annual NOMA Conference 5K fun run! After a long few days of networking, celebrating and enjoying festivities a nice brisk run will help you to rejuvenate and re-energize as we close out our conference activities. During the run you will get a chance to experience one of Chicago’s most prized sites its beautiful lakefront. This will also be a great opportunity for fellowship, fitness and fun!

This event is INCLUDED in the FULL CONFERENCE REGISTRATION and open to all NOMA members, conference attendees, friends and extended family. RSVP is required to gain an accurate headcount.

Each year NOMA (National Organization of Minority Architects) attracts 600+ minority architects, urban designers, community activists and design students from across the country come together in fellowship and support for the annual NOMA conference. 

This year the 46th annual NOMA Conference, NOMA UNBOUNDED – The Convergence of a Legacy, will be held in Chicago, IL. at the historic Palmer House Hotel, October 17th – 20th.  With the convenient location we’re exploring a new and exciting “conference without walls” concept which will leverage 2/3 of our standard conference programs outside the confines of the hotel, and utilize nearby firms, organizations, and venues.
